Privacy policy

ReReflect removes the phone from a mirror selfie and redraws your arm in a pose you choose. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your photo and what we do and don't keep.

Your photo

When you tap “Remove the phone”, the photo you chose is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to an image-editing model and returns the result to your device. We do not store your photos or your results. They are processed in memory and discarded; nothing is written to a database, a bucket or a log. Results exist only on your phone, where you decide whether to save or share them.

The editing is performed by OpenAI's image model under their API terms. OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models. OpenAI may retain API content for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, after which it is deleted. If this changes, we will update this page.

What we do collect

• A random device identifier, generated on your phone, used only to apply a fair-use daily limit. It is not linked to you, your photos or any account.
• Your vibe / theme choice, stored on your device only.
• An email address, only if you give us one on the “full for today” or “free shots used” card, so we can tell you when there is room or when Pro arrives. Kept for 30 days, used for that message only, never shared.
• Technical logs of requests (time, size, success or failure, the pose chosen) without the image, kept briefly for reliability.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or precise device identifiers. ReReflect has no account system. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.

Photos access

ReReflect asks for access to your photo library so you can choose a photo, so it can offer the one you have just taken, and so it can save a result. It reads only the single photo you pick or the newest one, never your library as a whole.

Other people in your photos

ReReflect is for editing photos of yourself. If a photo includes someone else, you are responsible for having their permission to edit and share it.

Children

ReReflect is for people aged 13 and over (16 and over in the EEA and UK). The app asks you to confirm your age before first use. ReReflect is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process their photos; if you believe a child has used ReReflect, write to us and we will act.

Your rights

Because we do not keep your photos or identify you, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or delete. If you have a question or a concern, write to hello@rereflect.app and a person will answer. Australian users may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will change this page first and say so in the app.
